camels I have known

These, of course are Turkish camels.......I have also known some Egyptian camels, but can't find their photos right  now.    I am assuming that camel # 3 in the bottom row is wearing a muzzle like device to keep her/him from biting the patrons.   Of course, I could be wrong....that may simply be the latest chic fashion in camel wear.

No more tonite.  Happy dreams everyone.

  2. You must keep your wits about you when dealing with camels. A smart camel owner knows to give a fed up camel his jacket, to allow it to take out its anger on the garment instead of the person. So usually, if they are muzzled, there is a good reason.

    Nice pictures.

  3. Camels are such unusual beast that have such wonderful design and fur too. I like to watch them walk and react with each other.

  4. I love camels and have always wanted to ride one. Must get round to doing that one of these days. I've only ever seen one in the wild before and that was in Morocco. (So glad I managed to leave a comment without querying whether the camel with the muzzle had the hump. Oh.)

  8. Camels are wonderful creations! I have a collection of them (not real I assure you.) I rode on one at a zoo once, and it was fantastic!
