Eeeny, meeeny .......Here I Go

After days of doing the eeeny, meeeny thing and pulling petals off of daisies with Yesses" and "Nos"and tossing coins and muttering, "Heads I do it, tails I don't" I am sick of the whole undecided bit and have made my appointment for a replacement part.  Now I plan to try to forget about it till September 21 when I will probably/possibly /maybe show up at the hospital for knee surgery.

That's all I have to report right now.......there will undoubtedly be More Later.

Get ready for a bunch of, "Omigawd, what have I done?"

  1. LMAO....I know, right?? I've been doing the same thing. Had an arthroscopy a year ago January and it's worse now than ever. have I made another appt?? NO I HAVE NOT. Do I need to? hell yeah...sigh.

You COULD be miraculously healed by September. Hell-stranger things have been known to happen. (That's what I'm waiting for.) LOL

  2. Yelp, forget about it now. September 21 will be here soon enough and you can rethink it then if need me. I probably will make the same decision before too long. That's the thing about time, the thing we concern ourselves with is here and gone in time. That sounds lame doesn't it but sometimes that's how I need to think. :)

  3. I think you made the right choice. And having made a choice is a good thing.

  4. It doesn't matter whether the choice turns out to be right or wrong. The important thing is to make it. The problem only arises when it's someone else's choice and you have no control. You'll be fine! Once you've got that sorted, could you please fix me up with some new knuckles in my right hand? Guitaring is getting difficult.

  7. like linda advises try to not focus on it until september 21....or maybe september 15 as there will be all sorts of preop hoops to jump through, will gimp through -- in 6 weeks you'll be jumping!

my ma had knee replacement at age 85 last fall; her only complaint was why didn't she do it years before! physically she has a new lease on life and emotionally happy, even with other stuff that has happened in her life.

increased mobility and being finally pain free can do wonders!!!!!

best to you...sending vibes to hold fast your way!

  8. Alright Lo. Make sure you have a laptop or iPad so you can post in bed. I would like to believe that I helped you in your decision by considering who might be your physical terrorist.

  9. I predict you will not be sorry after you get through the rehab torture. My dear old dad had both of his knees replaced and it gave him a new lease on life.
