How to Get Back to Old Blogger

Linda asked mefor the tip about how to get the Old blogger interface back.  I am reprinting Docnad's instructions below for those of you who feel like I do about the new Thing.
                              ****************************************

Well, what I do is click on the gear, or whatever that roundish symbol is. One of the drop-down options is Use Old Blogger Interface. I still prefer that a lot to the new one, and I still use it every day.

I do not like blogging on the new blogger interface, but I have found one thing--just one, mind you--useful. When you go to your list of posts, it tells you how many comments have been left on each and, more importantly, how many times the page has been viewed. This is useful feedback I was unable to find anywhere on the old interface.

  1. I haven't been "changed over" yet but like knowing the path back! My consolation is that all the fluff is providing jobs for people who might otherwise starve!

  4. The new interface won't let me upload a new template, won't let me delete my testing blog (it had no delete option) and all the white is giving me a headache. I'm really dissapointed with it. It changed me over a few days ago and it's kind of starting to annoy me.

  6. Thanks, Lo. The new look is so unprofessional and "blah". On that same drop-down menu there's a "feedback" option where you can tell 'em what you think. For what it may be worth.

  7. Hi Lo! I've been away - came back - and don't recognize anything! Hate the interface - but used the "gear" thingy to go back but still get a note that says the old interface will be gone within a month - so might as well get used to the new one. Oy!

How are you? Well, I hope.

  8. Yes, I'm getting the same message that the old blogger interface will be gone for good within a month. So now our lifeline is being taken away. I suppose it's time to try to work the new blogger interface. Presumably they've gotten the kinks out of it by now. Still, it looks rather nasty.

  9. oh i saw the post and was so hopeful that i could connect with the old blogger interface and popped to comment a thanks....but then i read the comments and learned from docnad that the old blogger will be gone for good within a month so i guess i should just suck it up and not obsess over the fact i can't get my photos as big as they were before and have to 'deal' with the weird notspacingissues when blogging in the html tab....

  10. For what it's worth, the Old Blogger Interface is still there. And won't let me upload photos. Also, for what it's worth, I'm still on the old facebook. And Google tells me my line speed is too slow for the new image search, so let switch me to the old one (which is what I told 'em in the beginning. . . .). May have a biggol honking new computer, but my line speed isn't any faster. What about the fact that not everyone is off of dialup *don't* they GET!!!

  11. Oh, today it changed mine over. There is a confusing video tutorial that is NOT captioned for deaf or hard of hearing people. What are they thinking? I want the old interface back, easy on my old eyes. I couldn't find the section on the "gear" to switch back to old blogspot. I'm going to search and see if there's another way to get it back.
